Cultural Achievements

Jasnoor Kaur of class X-C bagged 3rd prize in the Painting Competition held by Chandigarh Administration on October 19, 2105.The topic of the competition was “Chandigarh- A Smart City”.She won prize money of Rs 4000 .

Aadi Jain and Arsha Bansal (Class VII A) participated in Haasye kavita Sammelan on October 20, 2015 at Carmel Convent School, Sector 9, Chandigarh. Aadi Jain bagged Third Position in this competition.

Deepakshi (ClassXI),Jasnoor (Class X C) and Palak (Class VIII F) participated in the Poster Making Competition – ‘Chandigarh of My Dreams’ as a part of the Smart Chandigarh Competition series. They are selected for the next level of the competition to be held on 19th October 2015 .

Our School team comprising of Aaditya Prasad (Class VII G) and Gursimar (VI G) participated in the Nationals of WWF (Wild Wisdom Quiz) ,2015 on 6th October in New Delhi. The Quiz was conducted by actor Arjun Kapoor.

Siona Arora (Class VI A) successfully completed a 42 hour beginner course in Acrobatic Rock ‘n’ Roll during the Summer Camp in Moscow, Russia from 16th to 25th August 2015.

Our School team comprising of four students participated in a National-level Painting Competition- Japan on Canvas 2015. Out of them, Palak Garg (Class VIII) featured in the Top 30 participants.

Our School team comprising of Aaditya Prasad (VII G) and Gursimar (VI G) won WWF (Wild Wisdom Quiz), 2015 held at Millennium School, Mohali on September 2, 2105. They have qualified for the Nationals to be held at New Delhi.

Dhruv Kundrai (Class VI D) was awarded Allen Champ, All India Rank 10 and cash prize of Rs. 21000.

Ishaan Narang (Class VI E) was awarded Silver Medal in Salsa Dance Competition held at Skating Ring on August 22,2105.

• Our School Dance Team comprising of Aashna Verma (XII E), Soumya (XII E), Sanjali Sethi (XII E), Richa Verma (XII D) and Mehak Gupta (XII D) bagged the First position in the Zonal Level of Nrityanjali 2015 – Inter-DPS Dance Festival held at DPS Chandigarh on 8th August, 2015. The team will now be participating in the Nationals at DPS Noida in the month of November, 2015.

Aaditya Prasad (Class VII) won the Best Narrator Award in ‘Twist the Tail’ competition in Triumph-2015-An event organised at Banyan Tree School.Mannat Lehal (Class VIII A) received Second  Runners Up trophy in a Declamation Contest in the same event.

Jasnoor (Class X C) secured First position and Yashpreet (Class VII H) got the Runners up prize in a Drawing Competition organized by Eco friendly Sports Organization on April 26, 2015.

Apala Mandal (Class X) and Shriditi Roy (Class VIII) secured First position in Twine The Rhyme Competition in LAAM EXPORAMA ’15 organised by Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula on July 25, 2015.

Manya Garg and Vidisha Mahajan (Class IX H) won a consolation prize in a Terrarium Making Competition in Woodsia Alpina Eco Fest held at Sacred Heart School on July 18, 2015.
