The Pre-Primary Wing of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh conducted an Early Learning Series (ELS) on ‘Proud to be an Indian’ from August 10 to August 14, 2026. The week-long celebration introduced young learners to India’s rich heritage, cultural diversity and spirit of patriotism through engaging activities.
Nursery students dressed in tricolour attire, while Prep I, Prep II and Class I students portrayed renowned leaders and freedom fighters. Class II students showcased different Indian states, highlighting their culture, traditions, attire, cuisine and festivals.
The activities nurtured confidence and appreciation for India’s unity and diversity, inspiring children to value their roots and become responsible citizens. A Parent-Teacher Conference was also organised to facilitate meaningful interaction and feedback between parents and teachers.
