‘CYBER SURAKSHA’ SEMINAR AT DPS CHANDIGARH
Delhi Public School Chandigarh held a seminar on ‘Cyber Crime Awareness’ in the school premises on 19th August 2014. This campaign is an initiative by the Cyber Cell Noida, UP Police with the motive to curb the increasing cybercrime cases by spreading awareness about cybercrime and cyber laws.

Annual Show – Class III(Incredible India)
Students of Class III of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh presented ‘Incredible India’ as part of their annual day.Interspersed with several scintillating dances and songs, the programme showcased India’s freedom struggle and also highlighted her diverse cultural heritage. It was overwhelming to see more than 300 students enthusiastically participating in the show.
Investiture Ceremony
Delhi Public School, Chandigarh ushered in the Student Council in the Investiture Ceremony marked with anticipation and promise. The newly appointed members of the interact club were also given badges in the ceremony.
Mr. Sandeep Lall, Principal-Director of Audit (Central) and Dr. Sukhchain Singh, IPS, SSP, Chandigarh were the Honoured Guests present on the occasion. The function was also attended by some eminent Rotarians.
Web Wise Week
Delhi Public School Chandigarh celebrated‘Web Wise Week’ in the school premises from 14th to 18th July 2014.
The school was witness to a host of interesting and fun-filled activities throughout the week. Audio-Visuals highlighting the need to be safe and alert online were shown to all students. Students were made aware of various dangers that they can face when they are online and how to tackle such issues.
The poster-making competition held in all classes also saw many creative ideas taking shape. The highlight of the festivities was the online cryptic riddle that ignited young minds and inspired them to send answers in large numbers.
