Our School Badminton Team bagged the Second position in both U-17 and U-14 Girl’s category in UT Inter-School Badminton Tournament which was held at Sports Complex ,sector-42 Chandigarh from 6th to 14th August,2014. U-17 Team comprised of Ishita 9H, Sharone 9B, Angel Joneja 9B, Mudita Sharma 10D. Members of U-14 Team were Mannat Brar 8B, Mili Verma 4D, Shaina Arora 8D, Aenna Sharma 7F and Vrinda Rana 6D.

He secured 28th position out of 412 participants of all ages and 1st Position in U-13 Category by scoring 7.5/10 points.He received a cash prize of Rs.10000 for the same .

Session on Oro-Dental Hygiene
Delhi Public School, Chandigarh organised a session on Oro-Dental Hygiene for the children of Class II. This session was conducted by Dr. Shweta Sood from Dr. H. S. Judge Dental College, Chandigarh. The children were demonstrated proper brushing technique and given tips about improving their dental health. Principal, Mrs. Reema Dewan emphasised on the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene to avoid dental problems in later life.
Cryptic Crossword Contest 2014
The Chandigarh City Round of the CBSE Cryptic Crossword Contest 2014 for Chandigarh was conducted on 6th September 2014 at Delhi Public School Chandigarh. CCCC 2014 is a national level crossword solving contest being held in 34 cities across the country for students from classes 9th to 12th. The CCCC 2014 which is initiated by CBSE is being coordinated by Extra C an NGO.A total of 27 schools from Chandigarh and the near by states participated in the contest. Schools from as far as Amritsar, Ferozpur, Taran Taran, Rorkee were there.
Sanket Jain and Aachman Shekhar of Delhi Public School Chandigarh stood first. Both the students will now participate in the National Round to be held in December in Delhi.
