Japneet Kaur (X G) bagged the 1st prize in “Punjabi Sabhyachar”-an Essay Writing Competition held at Golden Jubilee Function of Guru Nanak Khalsa Senior Secondary School.

Aatishya’s (Class X) project which was displayed at the “INSPIRE” All India Competition at New Delhi has been selected for “Ignite Competition” and “Ninth National Biennial” Competition conducted by the Department of Science & Technology. The DST has also filed application on behalf of “Aatishya” for claiming “PATENT” of the design and concept.

CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATED AT DPS CHANDIGARH

Children’s Day was celebrated at Delhi Public School, Chandigarh with great joy and fervour. The entire campus came alive with games and activities specially organized for the children. On this special occasion, the teachers pledged to continuously strive to work for the welfare of the students.

The tiny tots of the Pre-Primary wing had class parties and fun-filled games. The middle school celebrated Children’s Day by putting up a special assembly. They presented Children’s songs and a skit. The senior wing put up dances, rock back performances and medleys of songs to entertain everyone. The teachers too sang and danced to the tunes of some latest numbers.
