Cultural Achievements

Deeksha Jain of class 3A has won the second prize in the Independence Day 2024 organised by T.S. Central State Library Sector 17, Chandigarh.

Avani Sehgal of Class XI-C won Second Prize in the Spoken Word Poetry Competition organised by Manav Rachna International School, Mohali on 22nd August,2024.

The following students showcased their literary talent and have published their books in the prestigious event of Summer Book Writing Festival 2024. Congratulations to all the 17 authors of DPS for their achievements.

We are incredibly proud to announce that Dilnoor of class 8G has won the 1st Prize in the Solo Inter School Dance Competition “Twirls of Freedom” held at Mount Carmel on 24th August 2024.
Her dedication, talent, and passion for dance truly shone through, making her performance unforgettable. Dilnoor’s hard work and commitment to perfecting her art have clearly paid off, setting a wonderful example for her peers.

A special shoutout to our talented duo, Akhilesha and Naisha of class 10E, who secured the Consolation Prize in the Duet Inter School Dance competition “Twirls of Freedom” held at Mount Carmel on 24th August 2024.
Their synchronized moves and creativity left a lasting impression. Their performance demonstrated the power of collaboration and the beauty of shared passion.

We are thrilled to share that Paavni (10D), Aanya Gandhi (10G), Sarisha (10H), Rekva (9G), Ananya (8F), Ananya (10E), Manroop (9G), ⁠Aastha (10F), Aarvi (8A) and Inika (9B) have won the 3rd Prize in the Group Dance Inter School Dance competition “Twirls of Freedom” held at Mount Carmel on 24th August 2024.
Their teamwork, energy, and dedication led to a truly captivating performance. Their collective effort and harmony were a true reflection of their strong bond and mutual understanding.

Aarna Sehgal of Class VII-D won third prize in On the Spot Poetry Competition on Indigenous Trees organised by St. Johns High School, Sector 26 Chandigarh on 19th July, 2024.

Hemanya Goel of Class VI A won second prize in On the Spot Painting Competition on culture of neighbouring states of Chandigarh organised by St. Johns High School, Sector 26 Chandigarh on 19th July, 2024.

The honour was done by Anand Kumar, Founder of Super30 on 11th May 2024 at The Leela Ambience Gurgaon.

Aarik Garg of Class VII A has been awarded with distinction in his graded examination by the Trinity College of London .

Ritisha Goyal of class 7G of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh participated in the 37th Annual Programme of Geeta Nritya Vidyalaya on 28/04/2024 at Mahakavi Kalidas Natya Mandir, Mulund, Mumbai. She was felicitated with a certificate and medal for her performance.

The students of Delhi Public School participated in  various events in ‘Kalautsav 2023’organized by DPS Mohali on 1^st and 2^nd December,2023.The following students were awarded trophies and cash prize in different events.

1.Adhrit Sharma of Class II B got the Second Prize in Online Competition Rhyme Recitation Competition ‘Science of the Species’

2.Sahiba Singh of Class IVE secured the Second Position in Onsite event Declamation Competition‘Talking Titans’.

3.Rianna Agrawal of Class IIIB received the Third Prize in Online Slogan Writing Competition ‘Combat Climate Change’

4.The following students of Class V and VI secured the First Position in Onsite event Street Play Competition ‘Adhunik Natyam’  ,Gaurika Tehri(VA), Hemanya Goel(VB)  ,Aliana Goyal (VIA),Vrinda Eshpuniyani(VIF), Samar Verma(VIF), Sarthak Arora(VIF), Aarna Sehgal(VIF), Rudra Rana(VIF), Gopil Soni(VIC) and Ayaan Mitra(VIC)

It is a proud moment for our school as two students , Akshat Gupta and Aaditya Jain of Class XE won the first prize in the movie making competition, Tourism Ideothon at the National Level organised by Sagar Public School , Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The theme of the competition was Tourism, 14 teams had participated and our school’s entry was appreciated by the judges and was adjudged as the winner.

It’s a proud moment for Delhi Public School, Chandigarh to share that Pakhi Dogra of Class 8G brought laurels to school by bagging third position in the Poetry Recitation Competition – “Auro Expressions-2023”, organized by Shri Aurobindo School of Integral Education, Chandigarh

Delhi Public School participated in Inter DPS Vocal Classical competition Swaragini. Ananya Mukharjee 10H qualified for the National Level in Solo Vocal Classical category. Palak Sharma 10D,
Jhanavi 10D, Angel AhluWalia 12A, Gurshaan Gill 12E, Agam Singh 11E, Vardaan Kataria 7C, Tanush 7C qualified for group song Classical Category.

Students of DPS Chandigarh won laurels for their school in the Inter School Cultural Festival – The Ripples
organised by DAV Model School Sec -15, Chandigarh on 19 Aug 2023. Students participated in the online and on-site events and won prizes in the following categories
