Class Show of Classes IV & V

Delhi Public School ,Chandigarh organised the Annual Prize Distribution Function and Class Show of classes 4 and 5 in the form of a field show titled ‘Celestial Charisma’ – a starry episode. The students participated with zeal and enthusiasm and put up a spectacular show. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Dr Joseph Emmanuel, Regional Officer, CBSE, Regional Office, Panchkula. He stressed on the point that true education is to see that the learning has manifested in students and their behaviour. It should equip them for struggle in life and bring out strength of character. The Principal, Mrs Reema Dewan addressed the audience and emphasized on the importance of building confidence among children through mass participation in class shows. She highlighted how the school is constantly upgrading its security for the students. She also congratulated the students motivating them to strive for excellence.

The meritorious students were awarded badges and trophies for excellence in academics and co-curricular activities.

The students showed how everything in the universe is interconnected and bound together. They won a thunderous applause from the audience for their riveting performance.

CBSE Heritage India Quiz 2018

The Chandigarh City Chapter of CBSE Heritage India Quiz 2018 was conducted on 29th January, 2018 at Delhi Public School, Chandigarh. It was exuberantly conducted by Quiz Master, Mr. Shashank Malik. One hundred and eleven schools participated from CBSE schools under Panchkula Region. There were two stages in the quiz – a Written Qualifier Round in which 6 teams were shortlisted and an on-stage round comprising of a mix of verbal, audio and visual questions. The top two positions from the city chapter The Gurukul, Sec 20, Panchkula and Springdale Senior School, Amritsar have qualified for the Regional Finals.

The Principal Delhi Public School Chandigarh Mrs Reema Dewan said such competitions hone children’s skills. She emphasized the need and importance of holistic development in an individual.
