Avneet Kaur Sur of X-E, 2022-23 does us proud by securing global rank 65 at International Mathematics Championship in which more than 20 countries participated. This event was organised by Camp Yellow Private Limited.

Anika Mehta of Class VI secured Silver medal in the International Mathematics Championship organised by Camp Yellow and bagged Rank 113 globally out of 2396 students.
Classes I and II celebrated ‘International Millets Day’
To celebrate ‘International Millets Day’ an activity was organized for the students of Classes I and II of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh. The children were apprised about the fact that millets are better substitutes than rice and wheat. Further, the students were explained that millets are great immunity boosters, improve digestion and are very fibrous. The students were shown various varieties of millets which they could include in their day to day diet plans. A PowerPoint presentation was also shown to the children for better understanding of the fact that healthy eating leads to a healthy mind and body.
Class II organised ‘Collage Making Activity’
Collage Making engages children in open-ended creative play and supports the development of cognitive and multisensory skills. To foster the innovation and art integrated learning in regular curriculum, DPS Chandigarh organized a Collage Making Activity on means of transport for the young Dipsites of class II on January 30, 2023. The little ones showcased their talent by making beautiful collages by pouring out their imagination and creativity. This activity helped the children not only know about different means of transport and their importance in our life but also reinforced the concept of being focused in a fun way. It was indeed a wonderful learning experience for our young Dipsites.
DPS bids Farewell to Class XII
Delhi Public School, Chandigarh bid a fond farewell to its outgoing class of 2022-23 with great enthusiasm under the theme ‘ VIDAAYI’ – BATCH OF 2022-23 on 2nd February, 2023.
The programme commenced with the welcome address by the Principal, Mrs. Reema Dewan who shared her words of wisdom and blessed the students for their future endeavours. She wished them luck to make a mark in the world outside, carrying forth the school motto of ‘SERVICE BEFORE SELF’.
The musical and dance presentations by the succeeding batch marked the beginning of a new journey for the students which filled the air with emotions and brought both tears and smiles on all faces.
The Head Boy – Ayush Hans and the Head Girl – Agrima Sudhir expressed their profound gratitude towards their Alma Mater and acknowledged their mixed feelings towards leaving the institution.
The event ended on a high note as the teachers bid the twelfth graders adieu and wished them success.
DPS Chandigarh wishes its outgoing batch of students the best of luck for the forthcoming exams.

15. Advay Gupta(IX) won bronze medal 🥉 in discus throw under 14 category.

Kumar Abhinav (Class VI) made us proud by winning the following medals:
- He bagged Gold Medal of Excellence (School Rank 3) in SOF National Science Olympiad 2022-23. He has also qualified for 2nd Level examination.
- He bagged Gold Medal of Excellence (School Rank 5) in SOF International Mathematics Olympiad 2022-23. He has also qualified for 2nd Level examination.
- He cleared round 1 and round 2 of International Mathematics Championship 2022 test organized by Camp Yellow, in association with members of European Mathematical Society and won Silver Medal and Certificate of Excellence in round 3, Global Finals.
- Awarded Certificate of Merit for standing FIRST in his school in National Level Online Examination of Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan 2022 23 organised by Vijnana Bharti (VIBHA). He also participated in State Level Camp (Level -II) and was awarded Medal & Certificate for the same.
- Awarded Certificate of Distinction by TERI (The Energy and Resources Institute), New Delhi for participating in a value driven Project, namely, Green Olympiad 2022.
