Class Nursery organised ‘Sorting Activity’
The young learners of Class Nursery of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh were apprised about the importance of healthy eating through an interesting ‘Sorting Activity’. Children sorted healthy and junk food pictures into different food groups. They were explained about the healthy food items through rhymes and modules. This hands-on activity helped them understand about healthy food items and the benefits of eating them.

Class I organised ‘Public Speaking Activity’
Public speaking and good communication skills are a part of personality development. Recognizing this need for students and keeping in mind the beginning of festive season, a public speaking activity on the topic ‘Festivals’ was organised by the students of Class I of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh. The students spoke lines on different festivals celebrated in India. It was indeed great to see them speak so confidently and exhibit their best. The children enjoyed the activity and also gained a lot in the process.
Class IV Class Show “Euphoria- Itni Si Khushi”
The students of Class IV of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh presented a heartwarming and enlightening show titled “Euphoria- Itni Si Khushi” on the occasion of the Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony. The honoured guest was Mr Surinder Kumar Garg ( Deputy Commisioner Excise, Patiala zone). The Principal Mrs Reema Dewan congratulated the students and the parents. She emphasized on the holistic development of the children and the importance of mass participation in Co-curricular activities in confidence building. The core ideology of the school is to provide every child a platform and create an environment that fosters the development of essential 21st-century skills. This philosophy shapes our school’s identity as a place where children embark on a happy, dynamic, and vibrant journey of learning and personal growth from the age of three onwards.
The students presented a series of performances that showcased various aspects of happiness. They presented a euphoric song, energetic dances, a Nukkad Natak that revolved around everyday.
Suhani Sharma of Class XI earns the title ‘FASTEST FEMALE CUBER’
Suhani Sharma, a Class XI student of Delhi Public School Chandigarh participated in the Gurugram Cube Open 2023, a two-day competition organised by the World Cube Association on October 7th and 8th, 2023. She enthusiastically competed in a variety of cubing events, including 555, 444, 333, 222, pyraminx, and one-handed 333.
Competing against 120 participants nationwide, Suhani stood out and earned the impressive title of the FASTEST FEMALE CUBER.
Class Nursery celebrated ‘Pink Day’
Colours make our life vibrant and infuse joy and happiness amongst children. Emphasizing the importance of colours in early childhood education, Delhi Public School, Chandigarh organized a vibrant and joyful ‘Pink Colour Day’ for the students of class Nursery. The young ones and the teachers came dressed in pink attire. Children carried their favourite pink toy and spoke a little about it. The tiny tots participated in hands-on activity of colour mixing and fingerprinting of a flower. The purpose of the activities was fun with learning as it created a memorable experience for our young learners and promoted the importance of colours in their developmental journey.
Our school students bagged first prize in Tourism Ideothon
It is a proud moment for our school as two students , Akshat Gupta and Aaditya Jain of Class XE won the first prize in the movie making competition, Tourism Ideothon at the National Level organised by Sagar Public School , Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The theme of the competition was Tourism, 14 teams had participated and our school’s entry was appreciated by the judges and was adjudged as the winner.
