Class III organized ‘Skill Saturday’

On May 4, 2024, Class III students participated in engaging sessions as a part of “Skill Saturday,” The day commenced with a session on table manners. It was followed by a yoga session. wherein the students performed various asanas, mastering the art of balance between body, mind, and spirit. The highlight of the day was the “Sandwich Making” fireless cooking activity, where students showcased their culinary prowess.

Classes IX & X organized ‘Skill Saturday’

Skill Saturday for classes IX and X was a vibrant blend of self-discovery and teamwork. Renowned career counselor, Ms. Rhythem Sharma, led a profile building and career counseling session, empowering students with direction. The Inter-House Football and Basketball League showcased spirited sportsmanship. ‘Kalpana ki Udaan’ sparked creativity, as students painted inspired by poetry. Culinary Creations honed culinary skills and table layout artistry. Throughout the day, students exuded energy, enthusiasm, and teamwork, making Skill Saturday a resounding success in nurturing holistic development.

Class IV organized ‘Skill Saturday’

On May 4, 2024, Class IV students participated in engaging sessions as a part of “Skill Saturday,” aimed at enhancing their practical skills through hands-on activities. The day commenced with an essential session on table manners teaching them appropriate dining behaviour. It was followed by a yoga session wherein the students performed various asanas, mastering the art of balance between body, mind, and spirit. The highlight of the day was the eagerly anticipated “Monaco Mania” fireless cooking activity, where students showcased their culinary prowess and teamwork skills. With enthusiasm and creativity, they collaborated to prepare five different types of delectable Monaco toppings, each bursting with flavor and innovation. Then they presented their recipes to the class. Through this activity, the students learned the value of cooperation, creativity, and presentation as they proudly displayed their culinary creations. The day was filled with laughter, learning, and camaraderie.

Class V organized ‘Skill Saturday’

Class V students had a “Skill Saturday” on May 4, 2024 where the students were engaged in a series of hands-on activities to enhance their skills.
The day began with a culinary experience for the students as they tried their hands in fire less cooking of Macaroni Salad. It was followed by Puppet Making. The students made finger puppets and presented a wonderful story.
The day concluded with a yoga session to attain a balance between body and mind.

Prep II organized Table Laying Activity

Teaching children table manners is an essential part of their upbringing. It helps them to develop important social skills, respect for others and healthy eating habits. Keeping the same in mind, we at DPS organized a session on ‘Table Manners’ for the students of Class Prep ll. The hands on experience helped children understand the correct way of setting the table and use of cutlery. The session also groomed children about sitting properly while eating, use of napkin and how to be excused from the table. The activity helped children learn to navigate dining experience with confidence, courtesy and respect.
