Sports Achievements

Our school has bagged several Medals in Hallmark Roller Skating Carnival 2010 held at Hallmark Public Schoool, Sector 15, Panchkula in August, 2010. The results are :

• Saina Arora of I-D won Gold Medal in Rink Race II and Silver Medal in Rink Race I, U-6 (Girls)
• Tarannum of Class II won Bronze Medal in Rink Race III, U-8 (Girls).
• Raisa of Class IV won Silver Medal in Rink Race II, U-10 Category (Girls).
• Shubham Mittal of Class VII won Gold Medal in Rink Race I, U-14 Category (Boys).
• Kirti of Class IX won 2 Gold Medals in Rink Race I and Rink Race II, U-14 Category (Girls).

Our students have bagged 3 medals in Anee’s Tandon Lown Tennis Tournament 2010 held in August 2010.

• Sachit Malhotra – classs VIII – U-14 – Gold Medal
• Sabrang Sandal – classs V – U-12 – Gold Medal
• Sabrang Sandal – classs V – U-14 – Silver Medal

Kirti of Class IX has bagged the Third Position in U.T. Inter School Skating Championship held in August 2010.

Shivin Sardana of Class III has bagged the First Position in Panchkula Distt. Table Tennis Championship held in August, 2000.

In the U.T. Inter School Swimming Meet, our swimmers have won 5 Silver and 6 Bronze Medals. The details are as follows :-

DPS Chandigarh has bagged the Second Position in Inter DPS North Zone Football Tournament organized at DPS Amritsar. Dipanshu Bhatia of Class X bagged the Best Player of the Tournament Award.

Ishaan, Paras and Himank of Class VII have bagged the First Position in U-14 Boys U.T. Inter School Badminton Championship held in August, 2010.

Jaskeerat of Class IV has emerged as U-9 Chess Championship of U.T.

Gurkirat Singh of Class IV secured the Third Position in Double Sculls Event in the Chandigarh State Sub-Junior Rowing Championship held in May 2010.

Sachit Malhotra of Class VIII won a Bronze Medal in the first North Zone Soft Tennis Championship 2009-2010 held at Punjab Agriculture University, Ludhiana in March, 2010.

Annwesh Dass of class VIII, Digvijay Parihar and Vipul Narang of class VII and Khusnoor Kaur of class V have been selected in the U.T. Swimming Team for participation in Junior National Aquatic Championship to be held in Bangalore.

Aayush Raj Kapoor of Class I-A bagged the U-7 Boys Chess title in the Chandigarh Chess Championship held in April 2010. He has been selected to represent in Nationals to be held in November 2010.

Sachit Malhotra of class VIII won a Bronze Medal in North Zone Soft Tennis Championship held in March, 2010.

Our Schools U-14 Boys’s Badminton Team bagged the first position in U.T. Inter School Badminton Championship. In the same championship, our school’s U-14 Girls Team bagged the second position.
