Achievements

Milanjeet Singh Bhatti of Class VII-C has been awarded Certificate of Merit in 7th Standard Talent Search Examination conducted by Duke University.

Shreya Seth of our school won a Third Prize of Rs. 10,000 in Max New York Life Igenius Scholarship Programme 2010.

Varun Sharma and Naval Pandey of Class XI bagged the Second Position in ‘Techniche’ – an annual Techno-Management Festival organised at IIT Guwahati.

Bhanupriya of Class XI bagged the Second Position in the Zonal Brain Bee Quiz Competition. She shall be competing at the Forthcoming National Meet as well.

We have bagged the Second Prize in the Zonal Inter School Quiz on Earthquake organised by I.I.T. Kanpur. The team comprised of Harsimram of Class X-D, Aditya of Class X-D, Gurtej of Class IX-D and Shreyam of Class IX-E.

Students of our school participated in the 17th State Level Children’s Science Congress held at Commonwealth Youth Programme, Asia Centre, Chandigarh, on 16th November, 2010. Taksh, Devika, Pranav, Prateek and Rishab, students of class X presented a project ‘Recycle & Reuse to reduce landfills’. The team has been selected for a presentation at the National Level to be held in December in Chennai.

The junior group comprising of Khushboo, Harshita, Pranav, Abhishek & Nilesh, students of Classes VII & VIII have qualified for the Young Environmentalists’ Meet to be held in January in Delhi. They presented their project on ‘Reincarnation of Parthenium’.

Kulbir Singh Ahluwalia of Class VIII has been selected as Tetra Pack Ambassador by TERI and will be going to Waapi for a presentation.

Jai Singh Mittal of Class IV-E has bagged the second prize in Semas Academy Japanese Abacus & Brain Gym Regional Anzan Competiton 2010.

Shrujal Bagga of Class IV-E has bagged a Participation Award in Challengers, a National Level Abacus Competition held on 3rd October, 2010.

Jappreet Kaur of Class IV-A bagged the Second Position in the North Zone Semas Academy Abacus Competition.

Tonishka Singh of Class III-C bagged the second position in Semas Abacus Competition in which more than 500 students had competed.

Pranay Bansal of Class IV has been declard winner of ‘SIP Prodigy 2010 – Punjab’ for his remarkable talent in Abacus and Brain Gym Expercises.

Kulbir Singh Ahluwalia of class VIII has qualified for the National Level of Bal Shree Award for Creative Scientific Innovation.

Devika Garg of Class X bagged the 7th Rank in the Final Round of State Science Seminar on ‘India & World Science : Are we there?’ She was earlier selected amongst the top 10 students of UT in teh Preliminary round of presentations.

Our Mathematics Model is one of the 15 chosen ones out of 207 models at the Regional CBSE Science Exhibition to be presented at the National Level. The model was presented by Sidharth Mittal and Karan Pratap Singh Teja of Class XII.
