Mahijith Singh Kaura of DPS Chandigarh has been ranked 5th  in Under-14 All India and 73rd in Under-16 and has got sponsorship from Britannia, Central Sports pvt Jalandhar and Silver Sports in Lawn Tennis.

Nibha of class 10 F won three gold medals in National Ranking speed Skating competition held in mohali from 14th to 17th April 2025.

Gautmi of X G won bronze medal in shot put. Tournament was held at sports complex sector 7 chandigarh and conducted by Decathlon on 14 April 2025.

Kanav Sood of class 7E won Bronze Medal in Inter District Skating Championship held from 11th -13th April 2025 by Roller Skating Federation of India, Chandigarh (RSFI) and Punjab Roller Skating Association jointly.

Saesha of Class VII A won 2 bronze medals in the State Level Gymnastics Championship held on 29th March 2025. This event was organised by Chandigarh Gymnastics Association

Our students have brought laurels to our school on day 1 and day 2 in the
North India Mahatma Gandhi Athletics competition 2025-2026

We bagged 1 Gold medal and 1 Silver medal and 2 Bronze medals.

1) Samisha Taneja (10/B) won gold medal in long jump U-16 girls Category.

2) Gagandeep kaur(10/D) won silver medal in 200mt race under -16
girls category.

3) Tashya Gupta (9/E) won bronze medal in 200mt race under -16 girls Category.

4)Aarush (10/E) won bronze in 200mt race under -16 boys Category.

5)Samisha Taneja (10/B) won bronze medal in 100mt race U- 16 girls category.

6)Gautmi (10/G) won bronze medal in shot put U-16 girls Category.

7) Maisha (9/E) won bronze medal in 400 mt race U-16 girls Category.

8)Advita (4/E) won silver medal in 60 mt race U-10 girls category.

9)Aarna (5/E) won gold medal in javelin throw U-10 girls category.

Guntas Kaur Sandhu of 10 C won the IGU Gujarat Ladies and junior girls golf championship held at Kenseville Golf resort Ahemdabad from 8 April 2025 to 11 April 2025.she won this tournament in category A and B .she is the winner in category B. She is the overall winner of this tournament.

Rishabh Kumar of 8 C secured 3rd position in Football Tournament organised by Mivran Football School, Mohali. He also got Best player award in this tournament organised by Team Yourh United sports in Sector 39 B.

Our students Arav Anil Rao (Grade X) and Ipshita Srikrishna (Grade VIII) have shown immense dedication and brilliance by securing top ranks in Olympiads conducted by Unified Council, Hyderabad.These students have been invited to Hyderabad to attend the Awards Celebrations ceremony.

Arav Anil Rao: All India Rank 1 , in Unified Cyber Olympiad and All India Rank 2 ,in Unified International Mathematics Olympiad.

Ipshita Srikrishna: All India Rank 2, in Unified International Olympiad.

We are proud to announce that Avani Sehgal, Vice President of the Student Council and a student of Class 12-C, represented our school at the Haryana Yuva Samvad 2025 held on 2nd and 3rd April 2025. The prestigious conference took place in the main assembly hall of Vidhan Sabha, Haryana and was graced by the presence of Honorable Speaker Shri Harvinder Kalyan Ji and Honorable Deputy Speaker Shri Krishan Lal Middha Ji.

Avani’s exceptional participation and insightful contributions in the conference earned her a Certificate of Noteworthy Performance. We congratulate her on this remarkable achievement and wish her continued success in all future endeavors!

The WOMEN FLORAL RIDE, organized on March 9, 2025, in honor of International Women’s Day, underscored the importance of women’s health, fitness, and eco-friendly commuting while strengthening community connections.

The event also championed the message that “Cycling is the future—offering a sustainable, healthy, and cost-effective mode of transport.”

A special highlight was Samaaira from Class VI A, who, as the youngest participant, impressively completed a 25 km ride.

Samaaira Bedi of 6A participated in event organised by CYCLEGIRI group in association with CHANDIGARH TOURISM on 27 October 2024. She successfully completed a 25 km bicycle ride that was dedicated to celebrating women who wore sarees and participated in the ride, symbolizing elegance, strength, and resilience. The event also highlighted and paid tribute to the spirit of the Quit India Movement, drawing inspiration from the courage and determination of women during the freedom struggle.
Samaaira was the youngest in the group to complete the 25 km ride in SAREE.

Suhani Sharma (Grade XII) has brought pride to her school and the nation by securing a Grand Award in the Engineering Mechanics category at the Initiative for Research and Innovation in STEM (IRIS) National Fair 2024-25.

Her outstanding achievement has earned her a place as a Finalist at the prestigious Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) 2025, set to take place in Columbus, Ohio, USA, from May 10-16, 2025. Recognized as the world’s largest pre-college STEM competition, ISEF will see over 1,800 finalists from 75+ countries competing for nearly $8 million in awards and scholarships.

Principal Reema Dewan congratulated Suhani on her remarkable accomplishment, stating, “She has set a benchmark for her peers at DPS. This international exposure at a young age will undoubtedly shape her future and open new avenues for success.”

The school and IRIS National Fair organizers have applauded Suhani’s achievement, acknowledging the encouragement and support provided by DPS Chandigarh in fostering scientific innovation and excellence.

Suhani Sharma, Head Girl (XII), will represent India at the ISEF 2025.

After four rounds of presentations and interviews at the IRIS National Fair held on 8th-9th Feb 2025, Suhani Sharma’s Engineering Mechanics project has been shortlisted to represent the country at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) in Columbus, Ohio, scheduled for May 10-16, 2025.

By dint of her hard work, dedication and innovation, Suhani has earned this place among the country’s brightest young minds. Her project is titled “Hinged Threading – a Novel Method to Deploy Convex Polyhedral Nets.”
