Achievements

Jannat Brar of Class X-B bagged the Second Position in a Workshop on Epilepsy organized by PGIMER, Chandigarh in August 2012.

Varunveer Chauhan and Bhavya Sharma of Class XII bagged the First Position in the Regional RBI Quiz conducted by Mr. Ryan Shah. The team has qualified for the Final Round to be held in Kolkatta in December 2012.

Bhavya Sharma of Class XII got selected in the First Round of National Online Essay Writing Competition organized by e-India in October 2012.

Bhavya Sharma and Varunveer Chauhan of Class XII bagged the First Position in a quiz organized by HT Pace in August 2012.

Sakshi Goyal of Class XII, Eknoor of Class XI and Arpit Mehta and Nilesh Biswas of Class X bagged the First Position in Coalesce – Business and Technology Quiz 2012 held at St. John’s High School Chandigarh in August 2012.

Siddhi Gupta of Class IX-A was selected as one of the winners of the online quiz organized by Paryavaran Mitra on World Water Day 2012 and has been awarded a Nature Camp Voucher for Mount Abu. Virok Sharma of Class IX-A and Rig Malik of Class VIII-A were awarded the ‘Paryavaran Mitra Cap’.

Sanchit Bansal of Class X-E has been selected among the top ten students from the tricity to participate in the National Science Seminar conducted by State Institute of Education, Chandigarh held in August, 2012.

Karan Kumar Punj of XI-A was selected to play in the U-17 Indian Cricket Team.

Jaskeerat of Class VI-C bagged the Fourth Position in U-11 category of Naurang Memorial International Rating Chess Tournament at Delhi. He also bagged 43rd position in open category with 6/9 points. Total 285 participants participated in the tournament.

Shaira Kansal of Class XI has bagged the Gold Medal in an International Archery event in the 5th TAFISA World Sports for All Games held at Lithuania, Europe. Participants from more than 20 countries competed in the event.

Our Chess Champions have bagged 4 Silver and 5 Bronze medals in the U.T. Inter School Chess Championship held at G.M.H. School, Sector 38, Chandigarh held in August, 2011.

Our school has bagged scholarships of  Rs. 3000, Rs. 2000, Rs. 1500 for bagging the First, Second and Third position respectively in various sports events organized by Sports Department, U.T. Chandigarh. The details are :-

Our school Table Tennis team won one Gold and One Bronze medal in U.T. Inter-School Competition.

Adhiraj Singh Jodha of Class VIII bagged two Gold Medals in Rink Race I & II in U.T. Inter-School Roller Skating Championship.

Sai Setia, Tushar, Vedant, Jashan got Gold Medals in 4 x 100 Relay Race in U.T. Inter School Athletics meet in (U-17) Boys category. Sai Setia bagged two bronze medals in 100 mts and 200 mts race.
