Vivan Gupta of class 5G bagged Gold medal in Fight and Bronze medal in Breaking in 2nd Enerald Taekwondo Championship (2019-20) organised by Enerald Martial Art at Carmel Convent School Sector-9 Chandigarh on May 12, 2019.He has also received Black Belt.

Ananya Gupta of class 5G bagged Gold medal in Fight and Bronze medal in Breaking in 2nd Enerald Taekwondo Championship (2019-20) organised by Enerald Martial Art at Carmel Convent School Sector-9 Chandigarh on May 12, 2019.

Achintya Gupta of class 5G bagged silver medal in 2nd Enerald Taekwondo Championship (2019-20) organised by Enerald Martial Art at Carmel Convent School Sector-9 Chandigarh on May 12, 2019.

Amey Goyal of class 5G bagged Second position in Chandigarh U-13 State Chess Tournament , conducted by Chandigarh Chess Association, held at Dr Ambedkar Bhawan, sec 37A Chandigarh from April 27,2019 to April 28,2019.

Uddayvir Singh of class XIC won the Singles as well as the Doubles Title in U-18 Category in the AITA Super Series Tournament held at CLTA, sec-10, Chandigarh from July 22,2019 to July 29,2019.

Mili of class-VIII won Gold medal in U-17 Singles, Silver Medal in U-17 Doubles,Silver Medal in U-19 Doubles and
Bronze medal in U-19 Singles in Chandigarh State Badminton Championship held at Sport Complex sector-42, Chandigarh from July 14, 2019 to July 17,2019.

Our school chess team comprising of Arnav Khushwaha (6F) and Amey Goyal(5G) bagged third position in All India National Inter DPS Chess Tournament held at DPS Ballabhgarh from July 11, 2019 to July 13,2019.

Our School Junior Level Team (Classes 6-8) comprising of Daiwik Goyal (VI-G),    Prabhnoor (VIII-B) and Chaitanya Singla (VIII-G) won the Inter DPS Quiz -2019(Zone I) at an event organised by DPS, Ambala on August 2, 2019. The would be going for the Nationals.

Our School team comprising of Vanya Sidana, Pranjal Sood, Sanya Ghosh, Ojasvita Sikka, Nani Nayyar, Dhun Madan, Nikita Dhingra and Ashmita Bhardwaj, won the Inter DPS Dance Festival (North Zone)-2019 (Nrityanjali) hosted by our School  on August 2, 2019 in the school auditorium. The dance competition featured eighteen dance teams from North Zone. The participating teams presented fabulous dances based on the theme ‘Mohan Se Mahatma’ – Ode to 150 years of Mahatma Gandhi and ‘Sushakti’ – Empowered Women of History / Mythology.

Our school team comprising Ananya Mukherjee VI H, Palak Sharma VI D, Agam Singh Kohli VII HAsha Rishi VII F, Aditya Goyal VII F, Bharvi Garg IX G, Abha Vashisht IX G and Simarjot Singh IX H bagged the Third position in Inter DPS Hindustani Vocal Music Competition(Zone 1) held at Amritsar on 27th July 2019. Ananya Mukherjee of VI H bagged the second position in the solo category. The team will now be participating at the National level.

QBIZ-Inter-School Business Quiz 2019 (School-level) was conducted by University of Frazer Valley at DPS Chandigarh on July 19, 2019. The students of Class XI and XII participated in it. The winners were:

Uditi (XII- A), Kanwar Shivraj (XI-D), Utsav (XII-A), Shaurya (XII-A), Anmol Bedi  (XI-E)

The winners will participate in the Zonal Round competing with 120 Schools of North Zone.

Our School team comprising of Arnav Khushwaha (VI-F) and Amey Goyal (V-G) won 3rd Prize in All India National Inter-DPS Chess tournament held at DPS Ballabgarh from 11th to 13th July 2019.

Our students won several prizes in different categories in Bishop Gilbert Rego Memorial IT Carnival 2019 organised by St. Anne’s Convent School, Chandigarh on July 12, 2019.

In the Poster Making Competition to celebrate ‘No Tobacco Day’ held on 16th May 2019 at Khalsa College of Technology & Business Studies, one of our students, Maryam Iqbal (Class VII-D) bagged the Third Prize and two of our students, Vanya Bagu and Prakriti (VII-F) secured the merit positions.

In St. Johns Heritage Day Celebrations, held on 16th May 2019, Siddhant A. Shah and Simarpreet Jus of (X- A) won the First Prize in Creating an Indian Script using art and language symbols.

Rehmat Singh and Drishti Arora (Class VIII-H) won Second Prize in Tribal Jewellery Making Competition in the same event.
