Achievements

Our School team comprising of Mehreen Brar (VIII-G), Devansh Aggarwal (Class VII) and Aarav (Class VII) won the 1st prize in the Inter-school Science Quiz Competition held at GMSSS, Manimajra on 22nd November, 2019.

Siddhant Agrawal (Class VIII) bagged First Prize in 47th State Level Science, Mathematics and Environment Exhibition held at SCERT,32 from November 27 to November 30, 2019 under sub theme Future transport and communication. He also received a cash award of Rs 5100. he will now be representing for Nationals.

Our team comprising of Jatin Saharan and Anubhav Sihag (Junior team) bagged the First position in 27th Regional Childrens’ Science Congress (Project title: Using Blue and Green Dustbins- An achievable dream for clean India) held on November 25,2019. These students will now participate in the National Childrens’ Science Congress to be held in Bengaluru.

Rajiv Gandhi Model United Nations was held in Delhi from October 18 to October 20. The following students were awarded Certificates of Excellence:

Gurkirat Singh and Herschelle Gill were also awarded a cash prize of Rs. 5000.

Our school students brought laurels by bagging many awards in different events in State Championship of Roller Skating and Hockey organised by Chandigarh Administration at Sector 10, Skating Rink from October 4, 2019 to October 5, 2019.

Our school cricket team bagged second position in UT Inter-school Competition in U-17 category held at DAV Public School,sector 8 Chandigarh from October 22, 2019 to November 1, 2019. The team comprises of Harshit Gupta, Wah Pratap Singh, Tejasveer Singh Saron, Abhikaran Singh Sidhu, Rhitwicq Additya Sharma, Aryan Vikram, Harsimar Singh,Aditya Giri, Ambuj Sharma, Param Shaurya Veer Nikhanj, Vishav Vashishla, Tejveer Singh, Kshitiz Malhotra, Shiven Aggarwal,Smarth Arora, Manhar Bawa.

Arnav Khushwaha won First Prize in Madan Bhandari Memorial Asian Amateur Chess Championship 2019 in U-12 category in Kathmandu Nepal from November 8,2015 to November 15, 2019.

Uddayvir Singh of class XIC won the Singles Title and Doubles Runners-up in ITF juniors G5 tournament held at Rajshahi, Bangladesh from November 11,2019 to November 17, 2019.

Arnav Gupta of class 8C won Silver medal in 200 mt race in Inter DPS National Athletic Meet held at DPS Agra from November 1,2019 to November 3, 2019.

Mili Verma,Seharpreet Bedi, Shreya and Mehak Poonia bagged Third position in UT Inter-School Badminton Competition held at GMHS sector 43 , Chandigarh on September 11, 2019.

Antara Panwar of class 8d won Runners-up trophy in u-14 girls singles at Open Tournament of Tennis held at Ideal Tennis Academy, Punjab University from October 26,2019 to October 28, 2019.

Pranshi arora of class 7F bagged a Gold medal at the 21st sub-junior Open National Fencing Championship in foil girls category fencing event held at Bhilai , Chhattisgarh from October 21,2019 to October 24,2019.

Our school team comprising of Kulrattan Singh, Harmandeep Singh, Imaan Singh, Sikandar Singh, Ayush Rana, Bakhshind Pratap Singh, Jaspreet Singh, Dhruv Kundrai, Harnoor Singh and Salamat Singh bagged Third position in u-19 boys category in Inter-DPS Zonal Basketball Tournament held at Jalandhar from October 19,2019 to October 21,2019.

In kala Utsav, the Inter-School Literary, art and cultural competitions held at DPS Mohali on November 16, 2019, Devansh Aggarwal (VII D) got 3rd position in Speak Up, a declamation contest and Sayema (VIII E) won the 2nd prize in Creative Spark, mandala art competition

Our School team comprising of the following students participated in the Strawberry Fields High School Parliamentary Debating Championship held on November 16 and November 17, 2019. The three participants were awarded Certificates of Excellence as Semifinalists:
