Cultural Achievements

Department of Film and TV Production, Lovely Professional University, Punjab hosted ‘Vista Vision’- A Photography Contest and Exhibition 2022 on August 15, 2022.

Drishya Singla (Class X-G) was declared the First Runners-up under the theme ‘Balance’.

Suhani, Maryam (Class X) and Ayush (Class XII) participated in the Bhavan Vidyalaya Panchkula Parliamentary Debate Championship from 29th-31st July, 2022. There were 75+ teams and their team representing our School got the 2nd prize.

Khwaish Aggarwal of 12E won a gold medal and Agrima Sudhir of 12C won a bronze medal in “Create from Waste” competition as a part of “Navaotthan – a new beginning 2022” organized by Parijai Genus on 8th of May 2022.
Malaya Gupta of 12C won a Silver medal and Shreya Sarin of class 12C bagged a consolation prize in “Freehand Brushless Painting” competition as a part of “Navaotthan-a new beginning 2022” Organized by Parijai Genus on 7th May 2022

Rajas (Class XI) and his team won the Winhacks 2022 Hackathon held by the University of Windsor for the “Most Launchable Hack” on March 28, 2022. They have been given a Cash prize of $1000 and support to launch their App into the real world.

Hemanya Goel (III-F) secured Third position in 27th Inter DPS Children Art Exhibition organised by DPS, Ranipur (Haridwar) on February 3, 2022.

It’s been a moment of great pride and joy for us to have talented young writers, Aditya Bansal of Class VI A and Parvi Bansal of Class IX who got their first book ‘The Chronicles of River Saraswati’ published on Amazon. Their work is indeed commendable and characters are so captivating.

Exun Clan, the Computer Science and Technology Club of Delhi Public School, R.K.Puram, and the foremost high-school club in India organised a massive inter-school technology symposium, a national student-run event from January 14-21, 2022.

Mohitpal Singh (Class VIII) of our School secured First position in ‘Cubing 2X2’ event.

Shreya Sarin (Class XI) reached the Final round of ‘Girls in Tech’ event and secured Sixth position.

Slogan and Poem writing competition on Vishav Hindi Divas (World Hindi Day ) was organised by Human Rights Council WICCI UT Chandigarh on  January 9, 2022. Akshita Kuthiala (Class-VII) got third prize in ‘Creative Dialects’.

Siya Garg (Class VIII-F) bagged 2nd prize in CreativeArts Competition organised by CCPCR.

Aanya Mahajan (Class VIA) won the Regional Round of the ‘Trust of India’s Cartoon Caption Contest 2021’ organised by the Times of India on November 26, 2021.

Our School participated in Inter DPS Music Competition-VOILA ,organized by DPS Gomtinagar Extension, Lucknow, on October 8,2021. Ananya Mukharjee of Class VIII got an Appreciation Award in the event.

Our School participated in ‘Convergence 2021’, an Inter-DPS Music Competition,organized by DPS Lucknow. Swarnim of class XII won First position in Senior category. Ananya Mukharjee of Class VIII stood Second in Junior Category.

Under its Parampara series at M L Koser Indoor Auditorium, young and talented Suhani Sharma of IX-E gave a tabla performance in ‘Teen taal’. Suhani has qualified in First division, three years of Sangeet Bhushan in Tabla.

Agrima Sudhir of Class 11-C was declared “Best Delegate” along with a cash prize of ₹3000 while representing India in United Nations Human Rights Council in the 3rd Edition of SGGS MUN (Model Unites Nations) organized by Sri Guru Gobind Singh Collegiate School from 12-13 August 2021.
