MD Sahl Siddiqui of 10 H successfully completed 2 week Yuva Vaigaynik Karykram/ Young Scientist Program YUVIKA from18 th may to 30 th May 2025 organised by ISRO at U.R RAO satellite centre Bangalore.

Mehar Uberoi( 12 B) and Karan Aggarwal (12 A) took part in SBI Scholar Quiz 2025, quiz held at Kalabhavan 16 on 7th May 2025. They won first position and a cash prize of 50,000 each. The school won a cash prize of 50,000 and the Teacher In-charge won a cash prize of 25000.
The Grand finale will be held in Mumbai in the month of June.

Akshnoor Kaur of Class 12-D has won the High Commendation 1 award in the G20 Committee at AGAHI MUN , held at Amity University on the 3rd and 4th of May.

We are proud to announce that our Head Girl, Suhani Sharma, will be joining Harvard University, USA this fall with a full-ride scholarship – a remarkable achievement that reflects her academic merit and all-round excellence.

In addition to Harvard, Suhani has received admission offers with comparable scholarships from several world-renowned institutions, including Yale University and Duke University. At Johns Hopkins University, she has been awarded the Westgate Scholarship, a highly competitive full-ride merit scholarship granted to only two students from an incoming class of approximately 1,400, according to the university’s official website. At Rice University, she was named both a Trustee Scholar and Century Scholar, receiving a scholarship of $96,000 per annum, covering her full cost of attendance. She was also selected as an “Impacts Scholar” by the University of British Columbia (UBC), Vancouver, which comes with a full-ride merit scholarship. She also got into Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech), a top-ranked engineering institution in the United States.

Suhani intends to major in Mechanical Engineering while also engaging with the broader liberal arts curriculum during her undergraduate studies. Notably, she achieved all of these offers without the aid of any professional counselling services, relying entirely on her own initiative and preparation. She is currently preparing to present her Engineering Mechanics project at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), scheduled to be held in Columbus, Ohio, USA.

Suhani also plans to conduct a mentorship and guidance session at school this month to share her experience with students to support and encourage them in their academic journeys.

We are proud to announce that Avani Sehgal, Vice President of the Student Council and a student of Class 12-C, represented our school at the Haryana Yuva Samvad 2025 held on 2nd and 3rd April 2025. The prestigious conference took place in the main assembly hall of Vidhan Sabha, Haryana and was graced by the presence of Honorable Speaker Shri Harvinder Kalyan Ji and Honorable Deputy Speaker Shri Krishan Lal Middha Ji.

Suhani Sharma (Grade XII) has brought pride to her school and the nation by securing a Grand Award in the Engineering Mechanics category at the Initiative for Research and Innovation in STEM (IRIS) National Fair 2024-25.

Her outstanding achievement has earned her a place as a Finalist at the prestigious Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) 2025, set to take place in Columbus, Ohio, USA, from May 10-16, 2025. Recognized as the world’s largest pre-college STEM competition, ISEF will see over 1,800 finalists from 75+ countries competing for nearly $8 million in awards and scholarships.

Principal Reema Dewan congratulated Suhani on her remarkable accomplishment, stating, “She has set a benchmark for her peers at DPS. This international exposure at a young age will undoubtedly shape her future and open new avenues for success.”

After four rounds of presentations and interviews at the IRIS National Fair held on 8th-9th Feb 2025, Suhani Sharma’s Engineering Mechanics project has been shortlisted to represent the country at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) in Columbus, Ohio, scheduled for May 10-16, 2025.

By dint of her hard work, dedication and innovation, Suhani has earned this place among the country’s brightest young minds. Her project is titled “Hinged Threading – a Novel Method to Deploy Convex Polyhedral Nets.”

Success is not just about winning, but about the dedication and effort put into learning. Two brilliant students from Delhi Public School (DPS) have showcased exceptional talent in the field of psychology. Mehar Walia, a Grade XI student, and Shreya, from Grade XII, participated in the prestigious UNI-QUIZ 2024, India’s National Level Online Psychology Quiz. Their remarkable performance not only highlighted their dedication and hard work but also earned them the coveted gold medal and a certificate of excellence.Both students have proven their academic prowess and their deep understanding of psychology, emerging as shining examples of academic excellence. This accomplishment is a proud moment for DPS, and we celebrate their achievement with great joy.

Suhani Sharma, Class XIIC, has secured a prestigious spot at the IRIS National Fair, a gateway to represent India at the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF). Her project in Engineering Mechanics was chosen through a highly competitive selection process among the sixty innovative projects with thousands of students applying nationwide. The IRIS fair, expected in February, brings together the country’s brightest young innovators. Every year, online applications open in September.

of GERMAN language have passed the International FIT 1 Exam,conducted by Goethe Institute, New Delhi, with flying colours and Manoviraj has topped the Chandigarh Centre in the same by scoring 56/60.

Avijit Saini of Class VII-H stood THIRD in the online category of “Tagebuch” in an array of International Inter-School German Competition named ‘Kreativ: The German Linguistic ‘ was held on 08-11-2024 by DL DAV Model School, Pitampura in collaboration with Goethe-Institute New Delhi.

Rynaa Malhan of class 6 F secured 1st Rank in Punjab State Level camp in Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan exam held at IIT Ropar on 22nd Dec,2024. There were around 20 participants from all over Punjab. Earlier, she topped SAS Nagar district for the same.The day long camp included practical exam, viva, puzzle solving and Audio visual round. She was awarded with a trophy , certificate and cash prize of Rs 5000 by Director IIT Mr Rajiv Ahuja. She will represent Punjab at national level to be held in May 2025.

Aashita of Class V has won Performer Award in the 21st International SIP Abacus & Mental Arithmetic Contest organised by SIP Academy at Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan, Kolkata (West Bengal) on: 10th November 2024.
