Academic Achievements

Our School Junior Level Team (Classes 6-8) comprising of Daiwik Goyal (VI-G),    Prabhnoor (VIII-B) and Chaitanya Singla (VIII-G) won the Inter DPS Quiz -2019(Zone I) at an event organised by DPS, Ambala on August 2, 2019. The would be going for the Nationals.

QBIZ-Inter-School Business Quiz 2019 (School-level) was conducted by University of Frazer Valley at DPS Chandigarh on July 19, 2019. The students of Class XI and XII participated in it. The winners were:

Uditi (XII- A), Kanwar Shivraj (XI-D), Utsav (XII-A), Shaurya (XII-A), Anmol Bedi  (XI-E)

The winners will participate in the Zonal Round competing with 120 Schools of North Zone.

Our students won several prizes in different categories in Bishop Gilbert Rego Memorial IT Carnival 2019 organised by St. Anne’s Convent School, Chandigarh on July 12, 2019.

Appreciation award in Cyber Design (Anaaya Jaryal  – Class IV)

Arnav Sahoo, Gunveen Gill, Haroon Pal Singh Bedi, Krishneet Lamba and Shreya of Class IX of our School participated in the project based on studying Biodiversity under the Earthian Sustainability Education Programme. They received appreciation certificates for submitting the best project from the State for Wipro Earthian 2018 School category at a ceremony held on 16th April at New Public School, Chandigarh.

Devansh Bhalla (Class IV), Ayaan Mittal (Class IV), Akshita (Class V) and Aarav Srivastav (Class V)  secured in the range of 75 percent -90 percent in the Green Olympiad Result 2018-19.

Aarav Srivastav (V-F) of our School excelled in GREEN Olympiad Examination    (Level- I 2018-19) conducted by The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), New Delhi. He is declared the ‘State Winner’ from Chandigarh.

NTSE result 2019 stage 1 for Chandigarh was declared on Friday, 14th April. Saksham Gupta, a class X student of our School scored 2^nd rank. He scored a total of 187 marks. NTSE stage 1 exam was conducted in the month of November across all the states/UTs of the country. 

Anmol Kapoor has accomplished excellence in the Class X National Talent Search Examination-2018 and is eligible for the Scholarship award.

Aarav Srivastav (Class V-F) has won Academic Excellence Scholarship by SOF for his exceptional performance in all Olympiads in 2018-2019.He has won this prestigious Scholarship for third time in a row.

Pratham Chadha (Class IV) secured Rank 1 at All India Level in the Unified Cyber Olympiad-2018.He will be felicitated at the Annual Awards Celebrations Ceremony to be held in Hyderabad in April 2019 with a cash Award of Rs 50,000/- and a medal.

Aarav Srivastav (V-F) performed exceptionally well in various Olympiads in the session 2018-19.

• State Winner and State Gold medal in Green Olympiad conducted by TERI.
• International Rank 3 and International Bronze Medal in NCO conducted by SOF.
• Zonal Rank 1 and Zonal Gold medal in IEO conducted by SOF.
• Zonal Rank 3 and Zonal Bronze medal in NSO conducted by SOF.
• Zonal Excellence Certificate in IMO conducted by SOF.
• All India Rank 43 in UCO conducted by Unified Council.

He has won several cash prizes, certificates and gifts for the above mentioned achievements.

Agrim Joshi (Class VI), Siddhant Agarwal (Class VII), Raghav Goyal  (Class VIII), Rounak Somani (Class I) and Aditya Prasad (Class X) received the INSPIRE Award of Rs 10,000/- each to prepare models.

Aditya Prasad and Siddhant Agarwal participated in the National Level Science Exhibition held at Delhi from February 14 and 15, 2019, with INSPIRE – MANAK awardees of different states.

Our model prepared by Haroon and Ayush (Class VIII), under the sub-theme, Transport and Communication, won at the CBSE National Science Exhibition. There were 85 models under this theme and 4 were selected, ours is one of them. The students have received a cash prize of Rs 5000/-.

Agrima Sudhir (Class VIII-B) won a consolation prize in Saksham National Level Essay Writing Competition 2018 in Hindi on the subject “Oil & gas Conservation” conducted by Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. She would be getting a cash prize of Rs 5000/- for the same.

Anshul (Class XI-D) bagged the 3rd position in the Regional Level Brain Bee Competition held in PGI on 20.01.2019.
