Class IV & V students visited ‘Alliance Française’

The students of classes IV and V of Delhi Public School Chandigarh, embarked on a cultural journey on Thursday, 5th October 2023, as they visited the Art Gallery of Alliance Française Chandigarh. The event, organized in collaboration with the French Institute in India, featured a mesmerizing musical acrobat show titled ‘Toyo’ by the renowned company Les Colporteurs.
Toyo’ came to life through the incredible talent of two French artists – Gilles Charles-Messance, a tight-rope artist contortionist, and Coline Rigot, a gifted musician. The show promised to be a unique blend of acrobatics, music, and comedy, making it an ideal choice for children of all ages.
The purpose behind this cultural outing was to expose young minds to diverse forms of art and culture, fostering their holistic development. Comedy, as an art form, has the power to provoke thought, evoke laughter, and engage students in a delightful learning experience.

It was a day of laughter, cultural enrichment, and great entertainment, leaving a lasting impression on the children and reinforcing the importance of cultural exposure in their education.
