The children of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh celebrated the birthday of Lord Krishna on August 18,2022 with great enthusiasm and fervour. Students of Classes Nursery and Prep I came dressed in traditional attires of Lord Krishna, Radha ,Balram and other mythological characters. They proudly flaunted their flutes, matkas and peacock feathers . They sang bhajans and shared beautiful stories about their characters. Classes I and II were seen engaged in craft activities making flutes and headgears with peacock feathers . During the in-class discussions , the teachers told their students about Lord Krishna’s life and the significance of Janmashtami .The activities conducted were both educative and entertaining .
