Children have an inbuilt drive for discovery and exploration. Keeping this in mind, the pre-primary wing of Delhi Public School Chandigarh, organised an activity ‘The Little Scientists’. Children of classes Nursery and Prep enjoyed the experiment of ‘Magic Spoon’. They were fascinated to see the magnetic effect of salt and pepper as it got attracted to the plastic spoon. Children of classes I & II enthusiastically participated in the experiment where they could see how the colour of water changes with lemon and detergent. They thoroughly enjoyed this magical time. It was a fun filled, hands on learning experience. Such activities nurture intellectual curiosity, helping children acquire new ways of asking questions and understanding the world. Overall, it was a day full of excitement.
