Remembering the founder of Sikhism and the first Guru of the Sikh religion, the birth anniversary of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji was celebrated by the students of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh with great fervour and devotion. The students were apprised of the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji using the virtual platform. They were urged to follow the path of universal brotherhood and harmony and to show selfless love and respect for others. The atmosphere of the online class was serene and pious as all the students, dressed in traditional attire recited the ‘Mool Mantar’ and sang holy shabads. A power point presentation based on the life and teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji was shown to the students. They were also motivated to incorporate the values of unity, brotherhood and oneness in their lives.
