Delhi Public School, Chandigarh held a Special Assembly to observe ‘Labour Day’ so that the students learn that labour is one of the greatest elements of society, the great substantial interest on which we stand.
The programme began with a speech on the origin and significance of ‘Labour Day’. A skit signifying dignity of labour was the highlight of the Assembly. The school environs reverberated to the strains of the song “Kal Gaya to Kaya Hua, Aaj Apne Paas Hai”.
