YMCA U-12 Total Tennis Championship
Sabrang Sandal of Class V-G bagged the First Position in YMCA U-12 Total Tennis Championship held in January 2011. He also bagged the Second Position in U-12 Manav Mangal Total Tennis Tournament held in January 2011.
U-10 Boys Satluj Open Tennis Championship
Gurkaran Singh of Class IV-F won Runners Up trophy in U-10 Boys Satluj Open Tennis Championship held on 4th December, 2010.
Bhavan’s Hawk Roller Skating Championship
Shubham Mittal of Class VII-G has bagged the Gold Medal in the U-14 Rink Race I and a Silver Medal in fRink Race II in Bhavan’s Hawk Roller Skating Championship held from 11th to 14th November, 2010.
In the same championship, Raisa of Class IV-A won the Gold Medal in Rink Race II and Silver Medal in Rink Race I in the U-9 Category.

Our school bagged the Third Position in U-14 Inter School Lawn Tennis Tournament held in October 2010.
The team comprised of Sachit Malhotra of Class VIII-D, Santbir Singh of Class VII-F, Sabrang of Class V-G, Gurasis Singh of Class VI-B.

Our school Cricket Team beat Shivalik Public School, Sector 41 in a friendly match by 100 runs. Apoorv Pandey scored 74 runs hitting 7 huge sixes. Agam, Karan Garg, Karan Punj & Harkaran took 2 wickets each.
VIBGYOR – ELS V
A Sports Meet ‘VIBGYOR’ was organized by Pre-Primary Wing of DPS Chandigarh on November 30, 2011 in the school premises. Around 160 tiny tots from Nursery participated with great zeal and enthusiasm and put up a spectacular show. The Principal, Mrs. ReemaDewan and distinguished guests graced the occasion and declared the sports meet open. The day commenced by releasing the balloons by the Principal, Mrs. ReemaDewan. The meet showcased a spell-binding display of rhythmic and colourful drills followed by graceful Aerobics. The show was interspersed with few fun races for children and parents as well like Bunny Race, Cinderella Race etc. The show ended with prize distribution ceremony.
Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony 2011
The evening of 29th November, 2011 was marked with celebration of excellence at DPS Chandigarh where the young achievers of the school were felicitated for their achievements in academics, sports and co-curricular activities in the Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony.
Ms. Prerna Puri, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and Mr. Alexander Connolly from Sixth Form Bolton College, our partner school in UK was the honoured guest.
As per the DPS tradition, the show took off with the lighting of the lamp. The highlights of the day were the orchestra, a beautiful blend of rhythmic tracks of various regions of India and a splendid rendition of ‘The Highwayman’ by ‘Alfred Noyes’, an all time classical favourite. Mewasi, a tribal dance of Gujarat, performed by students captivated the hearts of the audience leaving them spellbound.
The Chief Guest, Ms. Prerna Puri appreciated the cultural programme put up by the children. She congratulated the prize winners and encouraged them to strive harder to achieve greater success.
Science Olympiad Foundation
Sanat Bhatia of Class III, Shambhavi Ratnapriya of Class X, Shreyam Sinha of Class X, Anirudh Seth of Class XII and Abhishek Arora of Class XII were awarded for their exceptional performance in various olympiads conducted by Science Olympiad Foundation.
National Level Science Talent Search Examination
Pranay Garg of Class V-C has secured the Third Position in the Chandigarh-Mohali-Panchkula region in National Level Science Talent Search Examination. He has secured the 301st Position at the All India Level.
