Our school bagged several prizes in various events in the Inter School Competition organized by Moti Ram Arya School Chandigarh. The details are :-

  • Dry Flower Arrangement : Gayatri Franklin (First Position)
  • Solo Dance Competition Free Style : Madhav Ginoria (Third Position)
  • Solo Dance Competition Semi Classical : Sanjali (First Position)

Fanta Fiesta 2011

Our school has bagged the Overall First Position in Fanta Fiesta 2011, an inter-school cultural festival in which more than 64 schools of the Tricity participated. The school also received a cash prize of Rs. 10000/-

The results are :-

A Trip to Wonderland

The students of Classes I & II of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh staged a musical show ‘A Trip to Wonderland’ on the evening of 20th, 21st, 22nd December, 2011. It was graced by Mr. Ananya Gautam, DIG/Financial Int. Unit on 21st December 2011 and Mr. A.S. Dogra, Retd Chief Conservator of Forests on the 22nd December 2011.

The gala show was based on the ever popular fairy tale ‘Alice in Wonderland’. Coupled with mesmerizing music and enthralling dance sequences, the show highlighted celebration of life and dreams that sometimes come true. It showcased a magical mystical land of childhood fantasies and imagination. Attired in vibrant costumes, the children cast a magical spell on the audience with their captivating performance. The celebration came to a spectacular end with the curtain call where all the participants stood together in unison, with cheers and applauds echoing all over.

Congratulating the Principal, the chief guest said that this was the most outstanding performance he had ever seen. He called it an excellent result of synergies of parents and teachers.
