To enhance creativity and learning through hands-on experience, a ‘Mask Making Activity’ was organized for the students of Class II at Delhi Public School, Chandigarh on August 29,2025. The main objective of the activity was to familiarize children with different animals, their features and their importance in our lives.

The activity began with an interactive discussion on various animals, their physical characteristics, sounds and habitats. Students enthusiastically shared their knowledge about their favourite animal. Following this, they created colourful animal masks using paper, colours, and other decorative materials.

The young learners made masks of tigers and elephants. While designing the masks, they also spoke about the animal they had chosen, describing its unique qualities and uses. This made the activity both fun-filled and educational.
