The young learners of Class II of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh were apprised of the presence and movement of various heavenly bodies in space during their General Awareness class. To enhance their knowledge about the solar system and fuel their imagination, a role play activity was organised wherein the children enacted as eight planets of the solar system and revolved around the sun in their fixed orbits. They also shared interesting facts about each planet, the sun and the moon. They thoroughly enjoyed this fun- filled learning experience.
