Sherell Chhabra of class 7th won 1st prize in Under-13, 3rd prize in Under-15 and 3rd prize in women’s category in First State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament of Chandigarh from 7th to 9th July 2023.

Mehtaab Singh wins Under-11 final State Table Tennis Tournament organized by Sports Complex sector-50 D,Chandigarh.

Once again our students exhibited astounding performance at Chandigarh organised athletic state meet. Today Our students bagged 5 gold medals 🏅 and smisha become best athlete in the championship out of 2000 athletes and achieved cycle from the department.

We end up with total 9 medals in which 6 gold 🏅, 2 silver 🥈 and 1 bronze medal🥉. The following students are

1. Samisha of 8-A won one gold and one silver, won cycle and declared best athlete.

2. Gautmi of 8-C won gold medal in shot put.

3. Akshit of 11 won silver medal in high jump.

4. Anaaya Nusrat of 8-A won gold medal

5. Lavanya of 6-A won gold medal

6. Mysha of 7-H won gold medal

7. Agriya of 9-H won bronze medal

Ritwik Shrivastava (Class XI) was hououred by the Governor of Punjab Shri Banwari Lal Purohit on Independence Day August 15, 2023 for his outstanding academic achievement in Class X CBSE results.

Mehul Chhabra of class VI F won third prize in U-11 boys Table Tennis tournament held at Amritsar.

Sherril Chhabra of class VII A won –

• Second prize in U-13 girls
• Second prize in U-15 girls
• Second prize in U-17 girls

in Table Tennis Tournament held at Amritsar.

Cherrish Chhabra of class XI D won –

• First Prize in U-17 girls singles
• Second Prize in U-19 girls singles
• First prize in women singles

in hot weather Table Tennis tournament held at Amritsar from 12th-14th May, 2023.

Our School students made us proud by bagging medals in Annual Inter School State Athletic Meet 2022-23. Medals are as mentioned below:

1. Samisha won silver medal in high jump in under 14 category.

2. Tejasveer won bronze medal in 400m in under 19 category.

3. Parth won bronze medal in 400m in under 17 category.

4. 4×400m boys won silver medal in under 17 category. The boys are Parth, Parwan, Nitin and Manveer.

5. 4×400m boys won bronze medal in under 19 category. The boys are Tejasveer, Akshit, Kartik and Tejveer.

Our team of young scientists Bhavesh Mahajan  and Anubhav Dogra  (Junior Category) bagged First Prize in the 30th State level Children’s Science Congress 2023 conducted by the Environment Society of India, held at St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School Sector 44-D, Chandigarh on 10^th January, 2023.

The Group Leader will now represent Chandigarh in the 30^th National Children’s Science Congress 2023, to be held at Ahmedabad (Gujarat) from 27th January to 31st January 2023.

Arshiya won two gold and one silver in State Skating Championship held at sector 10 skating rink.

Arshiya of Class IX-D bagged 2 gold medals in inline 500 meters and 1000 meters at Sonepat from 29th November to 1 December,2022.

Nibha Ashraf won 2 gold Medals in 500 meters and 1000 meters in Rink race.

Arjun Kansal bagged two bronze in 500 meters and 1000 meters rink race held at South Point Public School ,Sonepat Haryana from 29.11.2022 to 1.12.2022.

Amisha and Brahmjot of Class 8 got Second Prize in State Level Maths, Science and Environment Exhibition 2022 held at SCERT 32 .They also got a cash prize of Rs 3100.
They had prepared eco charger .

It is a matter of great pride that our School was awarded a special commendation certificate for its zeal and support to the Swachhta Abhiyaan Campaign initiated by the Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh. The Swachhta Award Ceremony was held at the Open Air Theatre, sec 48 C, Chandigarh on December 13., 2022 in the presence of Smt Sarbjit Kaur, Mayor, Chandigarh.

Amisha and Brahmjot of Class VIII  got Second Prize in State Level Maths, Science and Environment Exhibition 2022 held at SCERT 32 .They also got a cash prize of Rs 3100.
They had prepared eco charger .

Three students of Psychology, Class XII, Raahal Hundal, Sukhmani Kaur, and Ananya Garg participated in the National Psychology Quiz (Psych-Ed), organized by Fortis Healthcare. They got 1st Position in the State and went uptill the zonal round which was held in Fortis Hospital, Mohali on 19th November, 2022.
