State Level Events

The School Swimmers bagged a total of 21 medals in various categories of U.T. Inter School swimming Tournament which was held from 2September to 4 September 2015. The tally is as follows

Our school U-15  Boys Football team comprising of  Yuvraj(XG), Kunal(XE), Dayakaran(IXC), Vansham(IXA), Arunava(IXD), Akshat Sarkar(IXA), Pranav(IXB), Aryan Bhatti(IXB), Uday Kher(XIA), Puneet(IXB),Amrit(IXB), VaibhavPandey(IXG),Avi(IXA), Aryan (IXE) and Angad(XB) bagged First Position in Br. Meredith Football tournament-2015 which was held at St John’s School sec-26 Chandigarh from 7 August to 12 August 2015.

Our school U-19 Boys Football team comprising of Rhydhmjet Singh(XIC), Abhay Bhardwaj(XIIB), Aditya Jindal(XIA),Pulkit Budhiraja(XIA),Gunkaran Singh Nibber(XID), Manik Chawla (XIE), Harshiv Chabra(XIIA), Shivansh Setia(XIIC), Mridul Bhushan Gassal(XIB), Teg Partap Singh,(XIB), Jugaad Singh(XIIA), Deepank Dayal(XIB), Rishabh (XIE),Sandhu(XIB),Chetanya Sharma(XIIC), Khajit Saini(XIE) and Shaksham Bhardwaj(XID) bagged Silver medal in UT Football tournament which was held at GMSSS sec-37B Chandigarh from 19 August to 26 August 2015.

Pavit Nibberl of class VIIIF won a Silver medal in Ladies Hack Horse Riding competition organised by Punjab Equistorian Association held from 29 August to 30 August 2015.

Pavit Nibberl of class VIIIF won a Gold medal in Ladies Hack Horse Riding competition organised by Punjab Equistorian Association held from 25 August to 26 August 2015.

Nikhil Bansal of class VIIIF won a Gold medal in Ball and Bucket Horse Riding competition organised by Punjab Equistorian Association held on 29 August to 30 August 2015.

Jivaj Chawla of class VC secured First Position in U-10 category in Roots talent Hunt Championship organised by Roots Tennis Academy at Modern Ways Model School sec-29, Chandigarh from 15 August to 17 August 2015.

Vrinda Rana of class- VII D and Mili Verma of class -VD bagged Gold medal in U-13 Doubles category in State Badminton Championship held at the Hockey Stadium sector 42 Chandigarh from 25 August to 30 August 2015. There were 50 participants in this category.

Vrinda Rana of class- VII D bagged bronze medal in U-15 Singles category in State Badminton Championship held at the Hockey Stadium sector 42 Chandigarh from 25 August to 30 August 2015. There were 300 participants in this category.

• Our School Dance Team comprising of Aashna Verma (XII E), Soumya (XII E), Sanjali Sethi (XII E), Richa Verma (XII D) and Mehak Gupta (XII D) bagged the First position in the Zonal Level of Nrityanjali 2015 – Inter-DPS Dance Festival held at DPS Chandigarh on 8th August, 2015. The team will now be participating in the Nationals at DPS Noida in the month of November, 2015.

The U-17 Girls team  comprising of Khushbeen Kaur(10A), Suhani Makkar(9D), Smera Mehta(9B), Tahira Gulati(9F) and Aab(7C) won Silver medal in UT Inter-School Lawn Tennis Competition held at Lake Club from 23rd July to 6th August 2015.

The U-17 boys team  comprising of Sabrang Sandal(10C), Sehaj Siddhu(10D), Ishan Puri(10B), Raghav(10E) and Anav(9G) won Silver medal in UT Inter-School Lawn Tennis Competition held at Lake Club from 23rd July to 6th August 2015.

The U-14 boys team  comprising of Uddayvir Singh(7D), Pranav Chopra(7D), Gurustat Makkar(7D), Harnoor Singh(6H) and Aditya Pal Singh(8E) won Silver medal in UT Inter-School Lawn Tennis Competition held at Lake Club from 23rd July to 6th August 2015.

The U-14 girls team  comprising of Prachi Batra (6D), Saanya Khunger(8F), Gurleen Kaur Gill(7E) and Gauri Chauhan(6A) won Bronze medal in UT Inter-School Lawn Tennis Competition held at Lake Club from 23rd July to 6th August 2015.

Jai Sandhu of class IX C won a Gold medal and a Bronze medal in Chandigarh Open State Shooting Tournament held at Markfed range on 6th August 2015.
