Sports Achievements

Uddayvir Singh of class- VII D won the U-16 boys Doubles title in AITA CS -7 Lawn Tennis Tournament held at Karnal from 6th to10th July 2015.

Uddayvir Singh of class- VII D won the U-14 boys Singles as well as Doubles title in AITA TS -7 Lawn Tennis Tournament held at Karnal from 25th to 29th May 2015.

Jaskeerat Singh of class- IX E stood Fourth by scoring 3.5/5 points in U-19  Chess Championship held from 7th to 8th June 2015. He will represent Chandigarh in U-19 National which will be held at Dindigul Tamilnadu from 23rd July to 31st July 2015.

Jaskeerat Singh of class- IX E stood Fourth in 26th Chandigarh Chess Championship held at St. Xavier’s on 19th July 2015. By losing one match and drawing 2 matches one of which was with his own coach, he became one of the players to represent Chandigarh in National Challenger at Nagpur from 16th to 27th Aug 2015.

Dhruv Kundrai received a Bronze Medal in All India Open Roller Skating Championship – 2015 as he and his team came Third in Roller Hockey (Sub-junior) competition. The Championship was held at skating rink, sector-10, Chandigarh from 8th to 9th May 2015.

Pari Mittal of class- IIIC won the First prize in Choi Kwang-Do Martial Art held at Choi Kwang Do Martial Art International Academy, sector-16, Panchkula on 5th July 2015.

Ishita of class-XC participated in the 30th International Youth Mixed Teams Badminton Tournament(RSL Cup) at Cesky Krumlov(Cqech Republic) from 12th to 14th June,2015. She achieved the First Place and The Best Player award. The Indian team had 6 players and 1 coach.

Ishita of Class- XC bagged the First Position and Best Player Award in the 30th International Youth Mixed Teams Badminton Tournament (RSL Cup) at CeskyKrumlov(Czech Republic) from 12th to 14th June,2015.The team had 5 players and 1 coach.

Jivaj Chawla of class- 5C won Roots talent Hunt Championship in U-10 category, the event was held at Roots Academy from 2nd to 5th June 2015. He also won in the U-10 category in a tournament held at YMCA from 6th to 8th June 2015.

Parneet Saini of Class 5B bagged 2nd Runners Up position in Girls U-10 Open Table Tennis Tournament held at Tender Heart Junior School Chandigarh. She also bagged 2nd Runners Up positionin 2nd Millennium Table Tennis Tournament held at Mohali.

Jaiditya Bansal of class 9F won a Silver Medal in Taekwondo State Level Championship ,held at Chandigarh on 31st May 2015.

Jaiveer Singh of class 2A secured First Position in CGC Junior golf tournament held on 4th July 2015. He was also declared Overall Winner of the tournament.

The school tennis team comprising of Sabrang, Saksham and Uday bagged  First position in Inter DPS National Open Boys Tennis Tournament, which was held from 18th  to 20th May 2015 at DPS Chandigarh.

Jai Sandhu represented Chandigarh at the National Level in Shooting which was held from 6th to 9th May 2015 at Pune.

Arnav Aggarwal of Class – VI E bagged the Runners-up trophy in U-12 Boys category in ‘2nd Fire an Ace’ Tennis Tournament held at Press Club Sector -27,Chandigarh from 11th to 12th April 2015.
