National Level Events

Dhruv Kundrai (Class VI D) was awarded Allen Champ, All India Rank 10 and cash prize of Rs. 21000.

Dhruv Kundrai, a student of Class VI was selected for Allen Champ – an honouring and mentoring program organized by Allen Career Institute in Kota. He was awarded a Trophy, a memento, a Silver medal and a cash prize of Rs. 21,000/- plus 12,000/- scholarship.

• Our school team comprising of Aachman Shekhar of Class XI & Apala Mandal of
  Class X bagged the first position in the Regional Round of CBSE Cryptic Crossword held at DPS Ludhiana on 5th August 2015. The team will now be participating in the Nationals to be held in Delhi in the month of December, 2015.

Himanshika Sehgal of class- VII F was declared First Runners-up of the tournament “Little Masters”, which was held on 23rd and 24th July 2015 at Panchkula and Chandigarh Golf Course.

Jaiveer Sandhu of class- XI B was declared Third Runners-up of the tournament “Little Masters”, which was held on 23rd and 24th July 2015 at Panchkula and Chandigarh Golf Course.

Uddayvir Singh of class- VII D won the U-16 boys Doubles title in AITA CS -7 Lawn Tennis Tournament held at Karnal from 6th to10th July 2015.

Uddayvir Singh of class- VII D won the U-14 boys Singles as well as Doubles title in AITA TS -7 Lawn Tennis Tournament held at Karnal from 25th to 29th May 2015.

Dhruv Kundrai received a Bronze Medal in All India Open Roller Skating Championship – 2015 as he and his team came Third in Roller Hockey (Sub-junior) competition. The Championship was held at skating rink, sector-10, Chandigarh from 8th to 9th May 2015.

The school tennis team comprising of Sabrang, Saksham and Uday bagged  First position in Inter DPS National Open Boys Tennis Tournament, which was held from 18th  to 20th May 2015 at DPS Chandigarh.

Jai Sandhu represented Chandigarh at the National Level in Shooting which was held from 6th to 9th May 2015 at Pune.

Harshita (class V B) won First Prize in Brain ‘O’ Brain Competition.

Chahat Kalsi (IX B) cleared all levels of ASSET in January 2015

37 Students of our School received Gold Certificates while 30 received Silver certificates in Green Olympiad held in December 2014.

Apala Mandal (IX E) and Adish Beri (IX E) won merit certificates in Green Olympiad in the Senior category.

Apala Mandal of Class IX won the First prize in Senior Category of All India Scholastic Writing Awards Competition organised by Scholastic India for her story on the topic,”When a friend betrays……………..” .She was invited to Bangalore for felicitation & received a copy of the anthology, a certificate of merit and a tablet.

Drawn from over 2000 manuscripts, her story has been published in a book titled,“For Kids,By Kids”. 

Our team comprising of Tanya Singh, Mehak Aggarwal and Siddhi Gupta (Class XI) bagged the 2nd prize in “e-newspaper designing”- an online competition as part of Vanijya 2014, All India Inter DPS Commerce Festival organised by DPS Noida.
