Slogan and Poem writing competition on Vishav Hindi Divas (World Hindi Day ) was organised by Human Rights Council WICCI UT Chandigarh on  January 9, 2022. Akshita Kuthiala (Class-VII) got third prize in ‘Creative Dialects’.

Siya Garg (Class VIII-F) bagged 2nd prize in CreativeArts Competition organised by CCPCR.

Dhruv Singh Attri of class XII won Gold medal in 200mt free style, two Silver medals in 100mt & 200 mt backstroke event in Khelo Haryana Championship held at Gurugram from August 27, 2021 to August 29, 2021.

Our School participated in Inter DPS Music Competition-VOILA ,organized by DPS Gomtinagar Extension, Lucknow, on October 8,2021. Ananya Mukharjee of Class VIII got an Appreciation Award in the event.

Our School participated in ‘Convergence 2021’, an Inter-DPS Music Competition,organized by DPS Lucknow. Swarnim of class XII won First position in Senior category. Ananya Mukharjee of Class VIII stood Second in Junior Category.

Under its Parampara series at M L Koser Indoor Auditorium, young and talented Suhani Sharma of IX-E gave a tabla performance in ‘Teen taal’. Suhani has qualified in First division, three years of Sangeet Bhushan in Tabla.

Blazing the path of excellence even on the virtual platform, DPS, Chd participated in the ‘Inter-School Literary Forum’ from 25^th to 27^th August 2021 held by The Millennium School, Amritsar and came out a winner. The Debate Team comprising of Ritwik Kanojia and Saranya Thakar of Class X and Vanshika Yadav and Gauri Sidana of Class XI and XII respectively was adjudged as the best debating team winning the First position out of 22 entries. The team spoke on ‘OTT Platform Needs Creative Freedom’.

Saranya Thakar and Gauri Sidana were declared the best speakers in Opposition. Students gave a  praise worthy performance in other events such as Poetry Recitation and Speech cum Presentation.

Agrima Sudhir of Class 11-C was declared “Best Delegate” along with a cash prize of ₹3000 while representing India in United Nations Human Rights Council in the 3rd Edition of SGGS MUN (Model Unites Nations) organized by Sri Guru Gobind Singh Collegiate School from 12-13 August 2021.

Making full use of the lockdown, temporary closure of schools and with extra time at his disposal, Tanmay Munjal, a Class XII student of our school has written a book on  single variable calculus.The book ‘Mathematical Methods of Calculus’ published by Saptrishi Publications is specifically about single variable differential and integral calculus. Tanmay, an avid scholar and a Mathematics genius, says that though the  times have been tough with academic and other plans cancelled, delayed or changed, writing the book gave him something to look forward to in this new found free time.

In FIESTA -SPINNING CHALLENGES organized by DPS RK Puram, New Delhi,

• Anahat (Class V) and Lavanya (Class IV) got FIRST position in Chehakte Paatr  Khanakti Kathayein
• Aanya Mahajan of class V got THIRD position in Humongously Hyperbolic
• Samisha Taneja of class V got CONSOLATION in Celesta- Colours of Humanity, a Western solo singing competition.

There were total 50 participants from all over India in each category.

In Kala Utsav, the Inter-school Literary, art and cultural competitions held at DPS MOHALI on 16th November, Devansh Aggarwal (Class VII) got Third position in Speak up, a declamation contest and Sayema (Class VIII)  won the Second prize in Creative Spark, mandala art competition.

Our school participated in Inter School Performing Arts Competition- ECHOES, NAAD- NINAAD 2021 oragnized by R.K Puram Delhi.

Ananya Mukherjee (Class VII) got First position in Vocal Classical Music category.

Agam Singh Kohli (Class VIII) bagged Second prize in Indian Instrumental Category (Tabla)

Our students participated in E- Kalautsav, an inter-school online event  for pre-primary, primary and secondary classes hosted by DPS, Mohali from 28th December 2020 to January 11, 2021.

Gurmehar Kaur Malhotra (Class V) and Tanvi Gupta (Class X) won First prizes in Rendezvous with Rhyme and Fiery Feet respectively. Kavya Gupta (Class II) and Siya Garg (Class VII) won third prizes in ‘We Weave: Storytelling and Care in Crisis : Art competition’ respectively. They have been awarded cash prizes along with certificates.

Agrima Sudhir 10-H won the 2nd prize in the Inter DPS Language Fest – भाषा उत्सव Sanskrit Shlok Gayan Competition organized by DPS R.K. Puram held on 16 January 2021.

Mansha Dubey (Class IX) participated in the Online Dance Competition organised by Sankar Bharti, Panchkula on November 22, 2020. She was adjudged the ‘Best Performer’ in her participating category (Classes IX-XII).
