In order to familiarize the children with Yellow colour, Delhi Public School, Chandigarh organised ‘Yellow Day’ for class Nursery. Yellow Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy to help children recognize and appreciate the vibrant yellow colour. The classrooms were filled with a sunny vibe as children and teachers came dressed in various shades of yellow, spreading brightness and cheer all around. The day was packed with fun activities like colouring, crafts and storytelling. Children brought yellow objects from home and enthusiastically participated in a ‘Show and Tell Session’. They also relished yellow colour snacks. Through these engaging activities, children learned to identify the colour, associate it with objects in daily life and express themselves confidently. Overall, ‘Yellow Day’ was a joyful celebration that combined learning with fun, leaving the kids with bright smiles and wonderful memories.
