A ‘Table Laying Activity’ was conducted on May 6,2025 for the children of Class Prep ll of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh. The objective of the activity was to teach young children the proper method of setting a table, while promoting independence, responsibility and teamwork. The session began with a demonstration by the teacher, after which the children practiced placing plates, cups, napkins and cutlery correctly. Child-safe and age-appropriate materials were used to ensure safety and ease of handling. The children demonstrated enthusiasm and cooperation throughout the activity. The activity successfully enhanced their fine motor skills and understanding of basic table etiquette.
