State Level Events

Gaurav Arora (XII) won the Second Prize in Kala Utsav 2018– a State level Competition (Music Instrumental) organised by the Ministry of Human Resource Development on November 20,2018.

Shubhra Koser (XII-C) won the First Prize in Kala Utsav 2018– a State level dance Competition organised by the Ministry of Human Resource Development on November 15,2018. She will be going for the Nationals in December.

Our School U-17 Girls team comprising of Vrinda Rana(10C), Mili Verma(8D(), Prisha Kohli(10A), Divya Arora(8C) and Pranjal Sood(9C) bagged First Position in UT Inter School Badminton Tournament held at GMHS Sports Complex 43, Chandigarh from October 3, 2018 to October 6, 2018.

Our School team comprising of the following students bagged Third Position in UT Inter-School Badminton Tournament U-19 Girls held at GMHS 43 Sports Complex from August 23,2018 to August 27,2018.
Mannat Brar(12E), Prabhseerat Kaur(12E), Mahak Poonia(11D) and Simran(12D).

Our School team comprising of the following students bagged Second Position in UT Inter-School Table Tennis Tournament U-17 Boys held at Table Tennis Hall -23 from August 23,2018 to August 25,2018.
Kamaldeep Singh , Adit Gupta, Arnav Gupta, Neil Goyal and Gunkirat Singh.

Our School team comprising of the following students bagged Third Position in UT Inter-School Cricket Tournament U-14 Boys held from August 1,2018 to August 4,2018.

Our School students won many prizes in Inter-School Swimming Competition 2018-19 held at Delhi Public School sector -40, Chandigarh from August 24,2018 to August 28,2018.

Our school team comprising of Mannat Brar(12E), Sohani Makkar(12A) and Gursimran(12C) bagged Silver medal in UT Inter School Squash U-19 Girls Tournament held at GMHS-43 Chandigarh from August 3,2018 to August 6,2018.

Our school team comprising of Agrima(8B), Sanya Thakur(8B), Chahat Bhandari(8B), Krisha Bhatia(8C) and Bharvi Garg(8H) bagged Gold medal in UT Inter School Chess U-14 Tournament held at GMHS-38 Chandigarh on August 4,2018.

Our School team comprising Shreya Seth, Mannat Brar and Prathma R.K. won the Zonal Finals of the 3rd edition of its National Psychology Quiz Programme ‘PSYCH 2018’ held on August 17 2018. Out of 880 Schools, 72 qualified for the zonal round.It will battle it out at the National Final on September 1, 2018.

Kairavi Sood of class 9B bagged Gold medal in Sub Junior Judo Tournament organized by Sports Complex Sector – 43 Chandigarh.

Neil Kanwar Singh of class 7H bagged First position in age category of u-13 in Rowing District Championship(Single boat) organized at Sukhna lake Chandigarh on April 25,2018.

Radhika Vasudeva of class 9B bagged Gold medal in AITA National Ranking Tennis Championship organised by Roots AITA National Ranking held at Zirakpur on July 7,2018.

Manasvini Divivedi of class 8D got First Position in Chandigarh Open Swimming Championship held at All Weather Swimming post sector 23A Chandigarh from July 7, 2018 to July 8, 2018. She Bagged First position in 50m Backstroke, 100m Free Style and 50m Butterfly category also.

Dakshmeet Singh of class V won Third position in U-11 category in PNB MetLIfe Junior Badminton tournament held at Sports Complex, sector -43, Chandigarh from May 24,2018 to May 26,2018.
