Sports Achievements

Poonya Vashisht of Class IV has bagged the Bronze medal in Chandigarh State Badminton Championship held from 24th September,2013 to 28th September,2013.

Uddayvir Singh and Pranav Chopra of Class V won the Doubles Title in U-12 category in  AITA Tennis Tournament organised at Harnest Tennis Academy, Jassowal from 23rd September,2013 to 27th September,2013.

Abhay Bhardwaj of Class X F bagged Silver Medal in Pandit Mohan Lal Memorial Boxing Tournament held at S.D School in 69 Kg weight category on 29th August,2013.

Shaurya Raj of Class- IX D bagged the Second position in Sub-Junior U.T Ranking Tournament held  from 16th August, 2013  to 18th August, 2013 at the Table Tennis Hall Sec-23, Chandigarh.

Shaurya Raj of Class- IX D bagged the Third position in Sub-Junior Table Tennis Hot Weather Tournament held at Shimla from 9th August, 2013  to 12th August, 2013.

Uddayvir  Singh of class VD won the Runners Up Trophy both in the U-12 and U-14 category  in the Lawn Tennis Tournament organized by Total Academy at Mount Carmel School , Chandigarh from 13th July,2013 to 16th July,2013.

Karanveer Singh of Class VIII and Mansukh Sandhu of class I won the Runners Up Gold Team Trophy in 1st CGA Junior Golf Tournament 2013 held at Panchkula Golf Club on 20th and 21st June, 2013.

Shaira Kansal of Class  XII has been honoured by the Chandigarh Sports Council and received a cash prize of Rs. 1,00,000/- for her outstanding performance in Archery at the International Level. She had bagged a Gold Medal in an International Archery Event in the 5th TAFISA World Sports for all games held in 2012 in Lithuania, Europe.

The school U-14 Girls team comprising of Aditi Goel (VIIIA), Ishita Arora(VIIIA), Eshita Bhatia (VIIIH), Angel Joneja(VIIIA) and Krisha Bhatia(III F)  bagged Second Position in UT Inter School Chess Tournament held at GMHS 38 from 5th to 8th August 2013.

The school U-17 boys team comprising of Lakshay Bhatia(IXA), Harshit Jindal(IXE), Anirudh Bhandari(XE), Prankush Garg(VIIE) and Yash Raj Kapoor(XA) bagged Third Position in UT Inter School Chess Tournament held at GMHS 38 from 1st to 3rd August 2013.

The school U-14 boys team comprising of Jaskeerat Singh(VIIC), Rishabh Jain(VIIIC), Jashan Khurana(VIIIA), Siddharth Darshi(VIIC) and Aayush Raj Kapoor(IVE) brought laurels by bagging First Position in UT Inter School Chess Tournament held at GMHS 38 from 1st to 3rd August 2013.

The following students bagged Medals in various events in UT Administration Cup of Swimming 2013-14.

Harnoor  of Class IV  bagged First Position in Intermediate(senior) category in Tennis Tournament held from 25th to 27th May 2013 organised by British Total Tennis Academy , Mohali.

The following students participated  and won Medals in the 4th Indo-Nepal Taekwondo Championship held at Kathmandu , Nepal from 22nd June to 24th June 2013.

The following students participated  and won Medals in the 3rd Indian Challenge Cup 2013, Open International Karate Championship held at Shaheed Udham Singh Bhawan, Mohali from 24th May 2013 to 26th may 2013.
