Sports Achievements

Mrinank of Class III-E bagged a Silver medal in his debut Taekwondo Championship held at Stepping Stones School, Sector 38, Chandigarh on 30th March, 2014.

Sugandha of Class III-E won a Silver medal in the Inter-Club Taekwondo Championship held at Stepping Stones School, Sector 38, Chandigarh on 29th March, 2014.

Shivam Mittal of Class VIII-H bagged a Silver medal in the Under-13 Badminton Singles category in the Tricity Li-ning tournament held at Sports Complex Sector-42, Chandigarh from 16th to 20th April, 2014.

Punya Garg of Class IV-C bagged the second prize in Chandigarh Under-9 Open Chess Championship 2014 organised by Chandigarh Chess Association, held at St. Xaviers School on April 6, 2014.

Jaskeerat Singh of Class VIII-C bagged the title of ‘State Champion’ in Under-17 Open Chess Championship 2014 held on 5th and 6th April, 2014 at St. Xaviers Sr. Sec. School, Sector 44-C, Chandigarh. He will also represent Chandigarh in Nationals in Bihar.

Arshia kamal of Class VII-B bagged a Silver medal in Taekwondo Competition and Cultural Programme held on 31st March 2014 at Ryan International School, Sector 49, Chandigarh.

Jaskeerat Singh of Class VII C  played the First Golden City Fide Rating Tournament and got 65th rank out of 273 participants. The tournament was held in Amritsar from  25 December 2013 to 28 December 2013.

Jaskeerat Singh of Class VII C bagged First position in the U-14 category in First All India Open Fide Rating Chess Tournament  and got a cash prize of 1100/- . The tournament was concluded at St. Xavier’s Senior Secondary School from 21 December to 24 December 2013.

Anshia Kamal of Class VI G bagged a Silver Medal in the Taekwando Championship held at Ashiana Public School on 26 January 2014.

The Cricket team of our school won St. Kabir Tournament which was held from 12 November 2013 to 14 November 2013. Vaibhav Kalta of Class VI H won the title of The Best Batsman of the tournament.

Harnoor Singh of Class IVG bagged the title of Beginner Senior Winner in the British Total Tennis ranking tournament held from 30 November 2013 to 2 December 2013. The tournament was organized and sponsored by Total Tennis Academy.

Charneet of Class XC bagged a Gold Medal and Puneet of Class VII A bagged a Bronze medal in the 22nd Chandigarh Inter State Taekwando Championship held on 30th November 2013.

Santveer Singh Bhangoo of class X F bagged a Silver medal in the U-17 category at the 59th National Level Games held at Pune from January 3, 2014 to  January 6, 2014.

Charvi Saxena of class XII C bagged a Gold medal in the U-19 category at the 59th National Level Games held at Pune from January 3, 2014 to  January 6, 2014.

Santveer Singh Bhangoo (XF), Jay Nagpal(XE), Saksham Khunger(IXG) and Sabrang Sandal (VIIIG) of our school bagged the First position in the Open Boy’s category in Inter-DPS Tennis Tournament held from December 12,2013 to December 14,2013.
