National Level Events

Ishika Bansal (V D) won a Gold medal in the 11th National Games in Chi Kwang Do Federation of India from 25th to 27th April,2014.

Saumil Arora of Class 6 has performed brilliantly in various Olympiads and received gifts worth Rs. 1000/- in the following:-

• 7th International Mathematics Olympiad

• 13th National Cyber Olympiad

Jaskeerat Singh of Class VII C  played the First Golden City Fide Rating Tournament and got 65th rank out of 273 participants. The tournament was held in Amritsar from  25 December 2013 to 28 December 2013.

Jaskeerat Singh of Class VII C bagged First position in the U-14 category in First All India Open Fide Rating Chess Tournament  and got a cash prize of 1100/- . The tournament was concluded at St. Xavier’s Senior Secondary School from 21 December to 24 December 2013.

Santveer Singh Bhangoo of class X F bagged a Silver medal in the U-17 category at the 59th National Level Games held at Pune from January 3, 2014 to  January 6, 2014.

Charvi Saxena of class XII C bagged a Gold medal in the U-19 category at the 59th National Level Games held at Pune from January 3, 2014 to  January 6, 2014.

Santveer Singh Bhangoo (XF), Jay Nagpal(XE), Saksham Khunger(IXG) and Sabrang Sandal (VIIIG) of our school bagged the First position in the Open Boy’s category in Inter-DPS Tennis Tournament held from December 12,2013 to December 14,2013.

Saumya Saxena (XD), Tanya Batra (IXC) and Prabhneet Kaur (IXG) of our school bagged the Second position in U-16 Girls category in Inter-DPS Tennis Tournament held from December 12,2013 to December 14,2013.

Mansi Bakshi of Class VI B  bagged the Bronze Medal in the Chi Kwang Do National Championship held at  Yadav Bhavan Sector 12, Panchkula on 17th November,2013.

Ishita Kapoor of Class IV C has bagged the Bronze Medal in the Chi Kwang Do National Championship held at  Yadav Bhavan Sector 12, Panchkula on 17th November,2013.

Shaurya Raj of class IX D has been selected for the Juniors U -17 category for the Table Tennis Tournament which is going to be held from 26 December 2013  to  1st January 2013 in Assam.

Samar Toor (VIII G), Jastaran Toor(IX H) and Abhishek(X C)  of school have been selected for the coaching camp for the selection of Chandigarh Swimming Team which is going to participate in the 5th National School Games being held at Pune from 10 Dec 2013 to 15 Dec 2013.

The following students are going to participate in the 59th National School Games (Chess) to be held at Andhra Pradesh from 27 October 2013 to 31st October 2013.

Aishwarya Goel of Class VI A  won a Gold Medal in U-12 category in the 4th Indo-Nepal Taekwando Championship 2013 held at Kathmandu in the month of June..

Khushnoor Kaur Walia bagged a Silver Medal in 50 mt and a Bronze Medal in 100 mt Breast Stroke events in Inter DPS Swimming Competition held at DPS Noida from 19th October 2013 to 21st October 2013.
