Delhi Public School, Chandigarh hosts Principals’ Conclave

Delhi Public School, Chandigarh is hosting a three day Principals’ Conclave on the theme-‘The Principal As A Visionary Leader’ which commenced on September 11 afternoon after the pre-event deliberations and will go on till September 14, 2015. Delhi Public School Society, which has been empanelled for teachers training by CBSE, has organized this event which is being attended by the Principals of Delhi Public Schools from Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. The event endeavours to create a platform for academic administrators from all over the region to exchange knowledge and express opinions on the challenges faced by educators and their schools.

The sessions will be conducted by various educationists and experts of national and international repute. The pre-event deliberations started with a welcome note by Mrs. Vinita Kher, Director CEM, Incharge HRDC, Delhi Public School Society. She shared the aim and the genesis of the conclave. It was followed by an ice-breaking session where each participant shared his/ her strengths, weaknesses and goals.

The Principal, Mrs. Reema Dewan, welcomed the delegates to the conference, encouraging one and all to unlearn, relearn and enrich themselves. She hoped the conclave would be seen as a forum to question, share and learn, where all participants would trade ideas to increase the pool of ideas with each one.

Later, an enriching and interactive session on the topic, ‘Engaging with Technology at School’ was taken by Mr. Atul Gupta, Co-founder and CEO Pugmarks, Red Alkemi, Edugrail and Edublaze.
